PVD and DLC are Performed in a Vacuum Chamber-Physical vapor deposition (PVD) describes a variety of vacuum deposition methods which can be used to produce thin films and coatings. PVD is characterized by a process in which the material goes from a condensed phase to a vapor phase and then back to a thin film condensed phase. The most common PVD processes are sputtering & ARC evaporation. PVD is highly used in the manufacturing industry for many products which require thin films for mechanical, medical, optical, chemical or electronic functions.

CNC Face Milling

Resurface the face of your putter back to a factory look by removing deep dings and dents. in various different depths. We offer Smooth, Light, Medium, or Deep Milling.
Please contact us if you have a special pattern request or insert. Not all putters are eligible for face milling.

Hand Stamping

Hand Stamping of up to 6 characters.
Area Options: Toe Bumper, Heel Bumper, Toe Face, Sole.

Alignment Aids

Want to make it easier to align your putter for the perfect stoke? We can mill a new sight line, sight dot. *Please note, we can not remove flange sight sight lines.*

Customization

We offer a few customizations such as Spot Welding, Copper Insert Conversions, and Bullet Casing Conversions. Please inquire if your putter is eligible for these.

We offer laser engraving of your provided pdf or ai image during a refinish for $100.00. If you want more than 1 image engraved, please contact us for pricing.

Welded Neck Conversions

Welding different neck styles can adjust the face balance and loft and Lie on your putter. We offer Plumbers Necks, Long Necks, Flow Necks, Knuckle Necks, Center shaft and Twisty neck conversions. We can even take a Right Handed putter and convert it to a Left Handed putter!

Paint fills up to 4 colors are included with each refinish. Please be specific in details of the colors and location of paint fills in Special Instructions below.
PLEASE NOTE- If no instructions for paint fills are provided in the Special Instructions, we will use a designers choice placement of your chosen colors.

Upgrade your straight or flare tip putter shaft. PLEASE NOTE PLAYING LENGTH IN SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS. If no length is noted, we will install a standard 35″ shaft.

We can adjust your loft and lie within 3 degrees. Significant bends may not be able to be 100% repaired.

Description

DLC is a Diamond Like Coating is a coating process similar to a PVD used on specialty steel, carbon steel, aluminum, titanium, nickel, brass, and more. The DLC process occurs in a vacuum at working pressure and involves bombardment of the putter to be coated with energetic positively charged ions during the coating process to promote high density. The DLC refinish includes removal of dents and scratches, stripping of previous finishes, if needed, and color fills up to four colors.  Final sheen comes in matte, satin, or polished.  This finish requires less maintenance than our black oxides, but should still be kept dry and wiped down to avoid spotting from chemicals on the greens.
